Shareholder Registration postponed until September

The shareholder registration requirement has been postponed until September of 2019.

The Ministry of the Treasury has just announced that it will extend the time frame for shareholders to register the shareholders and beneficial owners of Costa Rican corporations. Originally the requirement was to be implemented by March 1st, 2019. However the government is still working on the technological requirements of the registration platform. As such the decision was made to push back the registration requirement to September of 2019.
