In Costa Rica Lawyers are regulated by the Costa Rican Bar Association [Colegio de Abogados]. Costa Rica lawyers may also be licensed to act as a Notary Public. In Costa Rica only a Lawyer may be a Notary Public. The regulation of Notary Publics is under the Natioanal Notary Directorate (DNN)
