Costa Rica continues to rank in the top 10 destinations in the world. The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), International Living and Top Retirements continue to rank Costa Rica in the top 10 of their retire overseas rankings.
The world is changing fast and this means that countries which in the past would not have been considered a viable foreign retirement destination. This is reflected in the rankings set forth above. As such countries like Costa Rica should pay close attention to the shifts occurring worldwide and improve the services and processes to facilitiate retirees and expats to retire and live in Costa Rica.
