The Costa Rican Constitution was passed after the revolution of 1948 –  Since then the Constitution has remained in full force and effect.  In this section you will find information about Costa Rican Constitutional Law.

The Constitutional Court of Costa Rica

All the legal cases which address constitutional issues are heard by the 4th Chamber (Sala Cuarta) of the Costa Rican Supreme Court.  The decisions of the Constitutional Court are binding law on all lower courts.
