The French Magazine GEO has selected Costa Rica as the country of the year.
According to GEO “nature reigns in this small Central American country, home to 6% of the world biodiversity, where there are many national parks, protected areas and private ecological reserves.” GEO referred to Costa Rica as a Noah’s ark due to the diversity of wildlife in the country.
